Opieka nocna i świąteczna: po polsku →Нічна допомога: українською →
NiŚOZ (nocna i świąteczna opieka zdrowotna — night and holiday healthcare) provides medical and nursing care outside regular clinic hours: Monday to Friday from 18:00–8:00 and round the clock on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. There are currently 33 healthcare points in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, with the largest numbers in: Gdańsk (7), Gdynia (3), Sztum and Starogard Gdański. Below you will find the full directory with addresses and phone numbers, access rules and information on what to do if the doctor on duty recommends laboratory tests.
When to use night and holiday healthcare
NiŚOZ is intended for people who develop a sudden illness or whose health deteriorates in a way that is not life-threatening but cannot wait until their clinic opens: fever, infection, a sore throat, earache or abdominal pain without warning signs, vomiting and diarrhoea, a flare-up of a chronic condition, or the need for an injection prescribed by a doctor or a dressing change. There are no catchment-area restrictions and no referral is required: you can visit any healthcare point in Poland, regardless of where you live or which clinic you are registered with. The doctor on duty provides advice in person, by telephone and, where medically justified, at the patient’s home. You need an identity document for the visit; insurance is verified through the eWUŚ system.
If there is an immediate threat to life (loss of consciousness, seizures, severe chest pain, sudden breathlessness, extensive burns, vomiting blood or signs of a stroke), call 112 or 999, not a NiŚOZ point. The free NFZ patient information helpline, 800 190 590, operates round the clock and helps you find the nearest healthcare point, but does not provide medical advice. Emergency dental care has a separate duty rota; the directory is available on the NFZ website.

Has the doctor on duty recommended tests? Have them in the morning without a referral
Night and holiday healthcare points do not carry out routine laboratory testing: the doctor on duty assesses the patient’s condition and recommends the next steps, while blood tests (full blood count with differential, CRP, glucose, electrolytes, liver function tests) and urine testing usually need to be done the following day. You do not need to wait for an appointment at your clinic or have a referral: you can buy tests online at BadamySie.pl and have them in the morning at your nearest ALAB, Synevo or ETER-MED collection point, then access the result online the same day or the following day and show it to your GP. The result report is issued in Polish.
Tests after a night-time doctor’s visit, without a referral — full blood count with differential:

- Preventive health test package – a check after an infection or before a doctor’s appointment
- Anaemia test panel – full blood count, ESR, iron, ferritin, B12
Buy online at BadamySie.pl, have your blood collected without a referral at one of over 800 ALAB, Synevo and ETER-MED collection points across Poland, and access your results online. Collection point addresses: blood tests near you.
