Who creates our content?
Our articles are prepared by an editorial team comprising qualified nurses, doctors from various medical specialties and professionals with master’s degrees in medical sciences. Every medical article undergoes a professional review by an appropriately qualified member of the editorial team. Below, we introduce the team members who have consented to having their details published. Additional profiles will be added as more team members give their consent.

Dr Tomasz Niewęgłowski, MD, PhD

Combines editorial responsibilities with clinical practice, healthcare management and research and development into new technologies that support patients’ recovery. Author and co-author of publications in peer-reviewed medical journals, including Metabolism, Artificial Organs, Mediators of Inflammation, Nutrients and Medicina, primarily in nephrology, metabolic disorders and ozone therapy. - Sources. We rely on current guidelines issued by medical and scientific societies, documents published by the NFZ (Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia, Poland’s National Health Fund, which finances public healthcare) and the Polish Ministry of Health, peer-reviewed publications, and laboratory price lists and test catalogues (ALAB, Synevo, Diagnostyka and others). Prices and address details for blood collection centres are obtained from the BadamySie.pl online shop database and updated automatically.
- Verification. Medical content is reviewed by a doctor for clinical accuracy. Descriptions of procedures, test preparation and sample collection are verified by a nurse experienced in auditing medical procedures, while nutrition-related content is reviewed by a clinical dietitian. The date of the most recent update is displayed alongside every article.
- AI tools. We use artificial intelligence tools for proofreading, technical editing and organising data, such as lists of healthcare facilities. AI does not replace professional medical review. Our editorial team remains responsible for the content, and all publication decisions are made by people.
